The purpose of this page is to connect local teens ages 13 through 17 with private individuals in the Crescenta Valley interested in hiring young people for jobs such as babysitting, garden help, tutoring, dog walking, etc.It is up to the employee, his/her parents, and the employer to determine if each party is right for the other. Both parties should ask for references. All terms of employment are up to the parties involved.
Teens interested in listing themselves on this board must first send in via snail mail the VOL Permission Slip signed by a parent or legal guardian who will agree to supervise the offers, terms, and arrangements resulting from employment obtained through the VOL Youth Employment Board.
